Wednesday the 30th

I'd stayed up all night last night, packing things. The final one was a large package the buyer of which wanted me to send to a new address and said they'd changed it on Ebay but when I printed out the label it had the old one. I almost sent it, too, but noticed it was the old one before starting out, and tried voiding the label which I couldn't do because the label wasn't used, and Ebay wouldn't let me edit the address to print another one so I finally just canceled the order "problem with buyer's address" and told the buyer.

I left here around 9AM, it was just barely 40 degrees outside. The drop-offs went fine, and on the way back I spent about $12 on lunch truck food, got back here and ate it, and went to bed.

I woke up around 5, had coffee etc., and the buyer had re-bought the one thing and set their address up, so it was easy to print a new label, put it on, and I left here at about 6:30 or maybe it was closer to 7PM, and took that to FedEx.

I picked up packing supplies and, I figure, $400 worth of some things from the "bountiful" dumpster which I'd not visited for a while.

I decided to visit "Chicken Drip" which is a lunch truck that sets up in the parking lot of this weird building that's by the freeway, and basically sells a chicken tender cooked with varying amounts of spice, and fries, in various combinations. I got a side dish of fries with 2 little cups of sauce for $5, got back here, and ate it.

I put stuff away that I'd listed - seems the week's stuff gets put away just before Ken shows up - and had the bathroom cleaned and the office vacuumed just in time for when Ken came by. I got my pay check and then we unloaded a lot of test equipment he'd bought so there's no lack of things to list around here.

We talked about stuff as usual, and he left after midnight, as usual.

The once and future cornet

The reason I dug the Connstellation out and replaced the errant screw and put in new water key corks is that last week I'd gone by Park...
