86th day sober. Last night I was tired in that "don't really want to move" way but I got a practice in, and then got involved watching a Russian movie called "Come And See" which I've watched before, but I notice more stuff when I'm not blotto drunk watching it... it's quite good and a perfect depiction of Nazi thinking and the translation of such into real-world actions. German Nazis or American Nazis, doesn't matter.
The end result is I didn't actually go to bed until about 6AM or a bit past that, and woke up at 1 only due to the FedEx guy pounding on the door and who got treated to the sight of me in my underwear wrestling the box of packing tape into here.
I then went back to sleep, off and on, until past 3. Weird dreams too so I needed the sleep.
At least when I was initially dropping off to sleep, I invented an exercise I can do while lying in bed or anywhere, that involves blowing a thin stream of air and while doing that, raising and lowering my tongue in an "OOO-EEE-OOO" type mouth shape. I notice a problem I have is "lazy tongue". It's just not used to moving in that way. I grabbed the trumpet just now and tried it on the horn, and I think I'm onto something.
I packed some things that have to go out today and did my post office and fedex run, found a few boxes etc., and some paints and chemicals etc. one place was tossing out. I swung by Tom's just as he was pulling in, in his box truck. He unloaded groceries and I gave him a can of teak oil which is handy for restoring furniture. We talked about this and that for a while, and he gave me some avocados and a few "golden" kiwi fruit, which I just tried one of and are pretty tasty.
After hanging out for about an hour I took off for here and cooked some dinner, got Ebay stuff ready to list and listed it.
