I practiced last night, and am about due to move to another page in the book. I'm on the one opposite the illustration of a "Native" swinging a bull-roarer. The next page looks nice and busy and introduces a new note, F#.
I woke up at about 3, and was out of here at 4. It always seems to take me an hour to get prepared to go. Back when I had to be at my job at 7AM ready and raring to go, I used to leave my apartment at about 6:20 and my getting ready to go activities took me about 10 minutes of the 40 I had, and often got there 5 or 10 minutes early. Not these days! I have a coffee and check on Ebay and relax a bit before heading out.
I went right over to my bank and deposited my check and my own accounting was only off by a penny. I'll take that. It's really kind of cold out, which is keeping the zombies in their lairs which is nice. They're out wandering around, but not in the numbers seen in warm weather.
I took a package over to the FedEx on San Carlos, then to Dai Thanh for some things including a package of those really nice little cucumbers, then to the Amazon place for some bubble mailers, and finally to Nijiya for things. My treat for the night (I like to get some sort of "treat meal" to reward myself for getting through another week and having earned another pay check) was a "holiday" chicken leg/thigh from Nijiya.
I got home - it was about 5:30 - and after putting things away and throwing a few things that were cluttering up the parking lot into the welding place's trash can which had lots of room, I settled down and ate the chicken leg - it was really good. I munched on cucumbers while checking up on things online and reading Reddit posts.
