45th day sober. I went downtown and picked it up and it seems to be working OK. I'm inclined to keep using this one (which is actually really nice for watching YouTube videos) until it breaks, then get out my "old" one which is actually a lot newer.
Downtown was the usual, lots of zombies staggering around, although traffic is returning to normal. The bodega I was able to buy rubbing alcohol from long ago has it again and at not too awful a price so I got some. It's a waste of the 99% stuff Ken buys to water it down to 70% for routine use - best to keep that stuff for cleaning sticker residue etc.
I also picked up the first Getchell-Hovey book and the printing looks fine, not "fuzzy" at all as a couple of people complained about in Amazon reviews.
I got back here and loaded up the FedEx packages and took those to FedEx. I'd dropped off USPS ones at the downtown post office.
Eventually I listed Ebay items and actually got those done earlier than usual, before midnight. Then I tried to get motivated to practice but felt tired and just watched stuff on YouTube and went to bed.
