I've found a way to get my reading done. I'd been reading books in bed, which in some ways is nice, but I end up going to sleep, or staying in bed too long and that making me feel lousy, etc.
So I just set the book up learning against my laptop so it's at a nice angle, and read at my desk. Beats reading the same old blather on Reddit every day.
So yesterday and the day before I read "The Glass Castle" about some gal who had a very chaotic upbringing but still made it. And "Fantasyland" about how the US got to be as screwed up as it is - it comes down to a belief of, "If you *feel* strongly that X is true, than X is true" - regardless of little things like physical reality. Understand that and you'll understand the US.
It poured last night once I got in, but now, today, it's quite dry. I was kind of thinking if anything large that ought to go to FedEx sold, I'd take it today because the local FedEx is open on Sundays. But only small things have sold, and I've got things sent off ahead of time enough that nothing has to go out until the middle of the week.
I was able to make a grocery run to H Mart, just a quick out and back, as I didn't feel like pushing my luck with the rain so I didn't even stop to hang out with Tom.
