Dry Run

I was up around 1 or 2, I think closer to 2. I had my iced chicory coffee and nuts and vitamins, and started off for downtown around 3. The lunch truck was out front, and I had $2 on me so I stopped to give the lady the $1 I owed her from the other day. "Oh, I made as mistake, that thing you got was only $2" she said, I think to help me out. She'd not take my $1, but she did sell me a sausage and egg and cheese muffin thing for the $2 I had and that was good.

I had some packages with me, and took those to the downtown post office first. Then I rode down to Park Avenue, to  Meridian Avenue, to take that directly over to Bullseye Bishop to make sure I can find the place.

It went OK; there's a big freeway interchange that goes down in a little valley or depression, that makes things interesting. Other than that Meridian is a straight street and Bullseye's well marked. I stopped by, looked in the window where a kid was neatening up displays or something, and went back to my bike and rode away.

Coming back was different. I rode to a rather nice street called Minnesota, and took that along to Bird. Partway along Bird I saw a Walgreen's, and stopped in and got this new "King C. Gillette" safety razor I'd been hearing about online. It and a bottle of water were $34.

It was a really nice day to be out riding, if a bit sunny. I realized I'd forgotten to deposit my pay check, so I made my way to the bank and did that. Then I stopped by Nijiya in Japantown for a bento, some eggs, and a little salmon that turned out to be smoked salmon.

I then rode straight back here and put things away.

Cold and foggy Friday

I woke up around 11, and even around noon it's foggy and dark.  I should mention that "dead internet theory", the theory that...
