25ml

I went to sleep on my last 25ml of alcohol last night. I was wiped out, the way this fucking site wiped out the long post I'd written a few hours ago and consigned it to the bit bucket. Ken had come over, dropped off a lot of stuff including a big laser thing I'm supposed to take apart, and I managed to cook broccoli beef for dinner, do a practice, and get a lot of things "half packed" by which I mean, hunting them down in the warehouse and then setting them up with what box etc they'll need and printing the labels. I stack those by the door to take care of the next day (today)

I was up at 2, had my coffee etc., and was out the door with packages packed at around 5. Did my drop-offs, picked up fruit and veg on the way back (skipped packing materials because of all the stuff Ken brought last night) and got back here, put things away, and had a couple of hard-boiled eggs. I headed out at 7 to go to H Mart for a just a few things: Yakult, broccoli to last the next few days, and this kind of Korean cold noodles I'd seen on YouTube and wanted to try.

On the way back, I stopped where I'd seen some clothing etc being thrown out by "Grill-'Em" and basically emptied all the bags out so others will see the "free sale" because there's a lot of really good stuff there. Mostly girlie stuff, but I picked up a North Face "Joker" or "Riddler" or some fucking name backpack, a nice puffy jacket, couple of hats, and some other cool shit. It might have pushed $100 even at Goodwill although in all fairness it was a pretty classy Goodwill I used to go to. I saved out a neato bag and a wallet sort of thing for Suzy, Ken's wife.

I fucking hate this site and I understand they've decided it's not fucking user-hostile enough so they're going to put in place some new fucking interface that may make it unusable.

I would be better off printing my thoughts on parchment paper and binding them by hand, because all of this will ultimately end up in the bit bucket anyway whereas 100 years from now a hand-bound set of books however trivial their subject, will be valued.

I tried the cold Korean noodles and they were OK, except the kind I'd gotten have thin noodles and I overcooked them so they were a mushy mess. Fortunately each package has two (large) servings so I get to try again before spending any more money. And I can always try the other kind with the thicker noodles. Noodles are not really on my diet but I have a real weakness for soba.

Dinner was a salad of scrounged lettuce with a scrounged tomato, my recipe dressing, and some sauteed beef. It came out really good.

Before I knew it, it was past midnight though and Crazy Crissie is up at the end front of the complex doing crackhead things. She's got friends, a Black couple, he sturdy, she really stout. They've got a shitty car too. Since Chrissie's got lawn chairs and no doubt enough crack pipes to go around, it's an all-night party. But, a funny thing; last night she drove up here to get water and all I heard was a little bump sound then she left. So I think the Mr. Softee guy's blocked the faucet off somehow. So she's staying quite a distance off but I know how sound travels when it's dead quiet so no 2AM practice here.

Cold and foggy Friday

I woke up around 11, and even around noon it's foggy and dark.  I should mention that "dead internet theory", the theory that...
