Big Motors

I woke up last night at about 8:30PM so apparently my "system" demands a good 8 hours of sleep. I had the place neatened up when Ken came over, with two huge motors in the back of his truck. Thank goodness he didn't put them in here, but plans to just take them to a metal recycler.

I worked with him getting a big grey electrical control box out of its wooden crate and the crate put out for whoever wants to take it. 99% of my help is simply thinking about things and suggesting how to do things better but they go so much better and so much less chance of someone getting injured that it's very valuable help.

Ken left some things to list, but I had a large test instrument planned to take apart so I did that anyway, taking hours but I kind of like taking things apart. Then I listed a couple of things Ken brought over and a bunch of goodies out of the thing I took apart.

This used up the night, but at least before starting on taking apart the big thing, I made "burger in a bowl" which was one of the hamburger patties from Whole Foods (1/2 lb each) and frying that up, on a bed of raw onion and mayo and mustard on top. It's a good easy dish. For breakfast just now I scrambled a couple eggs and added some cut up shrimp and cooked that in the leftover hamburger grease.

I packed nine or ten things to take to the post office downtown.
