Since I got to bed somewhat early (for me) 1AM or at latest 2AM, I was able to get up in time to get to the class today which started at 10. In fact, even though I rode more slowly than usual due to how wet the roads were, I got there early.
I'm glad I went, too, because the rabbi talked about how he was a kid actor in a lot of TV shows like The Waltons, in the background (non-speaking roles) and he said there was a lot of "abuse" and it turned him off of being an actor.
We talked about politics of course, and even covered a bit of what's the course material but mainly politics. As the saying goes, "You may not be interested in politics but politics is interested in you" and this was particularly true in early 1930s Germany as well as the present day.
After class I went to Whole Foods for a slice of pizza and a seltzer water, waited for a bit of rain to get over with, then went to Walmart for things. Then I just got back here.
