I was up until 5AM doing laundry last night, at least I got a ton of small things like sox washed and hung up and the next load started because that's a rule I've made for myself, to always start the next load after finishing one.
I got up in time to pack some things and get cleaned up, dropped off the things at the post office, had something to eat at Whole Foods, and got a couple of things at the hardware store. My new LED work light works great and it will work even better when I've got it hung up from an overhead pipe, giving it a better angle. I put the old one out for the scavengers (it cost Ken $15 at Goodwill and if he asks I'll tell him how bad a light it was - who gives away a work light unless it's junk?) and it was gone in minutes.
Tonight's class went well. The half hour of Hebrew at the beginning and the rest of the class was taught by my own rabbi and he's good at these things.
I got back here and after various things I settled down for a practice session. I'm working on new stuff since I sure can't play "Ave Maria" any more. And the same as last night, I noticed that at the end of the hour or so practice, I could play bugle calls - way back when, I could play higher notes at the very beginning of my practice session and then forget about it past then. Now I think I've built up more strength or stopped tensing something or somehow have matured as a player a bit.
