When life gives you spinach ...

I woke up at noon, and tried to go back to sleep until 2 without much luck. So I got up, had a cold coffee, futzed around online, and was out the door with my load of packages at 4:30. The drop-offs went well, and behind H Mart I picked up a nice bundle of fresh spinach.

I picked up boxes and bubble wrap and the usual treasures, and some more of this steel grating that one place tosses out, that I might use in making a charcoal grill someday.

I got back here, put things away, and had some nuts and hard boiled eggs with furikake and mayonnaise.

At least it was cooler today and really nice when I was out riding around. I wore my safety glasses and mask all the say, the glasses for all the junk that gets in my eyes on windy days like this, and the mask because the sun seems to make my lower lip get little splits in it and the mask would of course protect it from the sun. Plus not having to breathe in a bunch of tree seed junk that makes me cough, so I'm glad masks are in fashion now.

The bundle of spinach, after sorting and cleaning and cooking, made one serving, and it came out great. I had beef on top of it.

The canned corned beef I'd had last night tasted good but .... it's near its expiration date and .... did not agree with me. To the extent that I'm going to drop off the other three cans of that batch, regular-sized cans I'd bought at CVS, in the blessing box. That ghetto CVS sells some dodgy stuff.
