Daytime schedule win

I didn't practice last night. I got all involved watching a 1980s movie, "The Razor's Edge" with Bill Murray in a serious role for a change. It was pretty good.

I woke up at 9:30 (I'd gone to bed a bit after 1AM) and saw that it was not yet wet. The rain was coming, it looked like, and fast.

Fortunately I had the large box, already full of foam blocks, that I'd picked up last night. I was able to pack the large instrument pretty well, and was out of here around 11, taking it up to UPS which was $20 cheaper than FedEx and in that box with that foam, as safe as could be.

I went to the iTaiwan place and got a bottle of coffee and some little flute shaped cookies. The lady there gave me another bottle of coffee, a can of coffee with sugar and cream, and a couple packets of "fried" cookies.

I found some packing stuff by Sanmina and picked up a rather nice chair that had been behind the CrossFit place for a couple of days, and then circled around to Tom's place. He was there and his truck wasn't because it's still broken down, in Reno. I gave him the chair and the can of coffee with sugar and the "fried" cookies although I had to try one. We shot the bull for a while and then a guy with a big trailer behind his minivan came by, and apparently Tom had arranged to buy something off of it, which once the guy had gone and come back with a single, really heavy-duty I-beam, he and Tom got it off the trailer and into Tom's side yard and Tom forked over $25 to the guy.

Tom and I shot the bull more, and I told him about getting a trumpet again and making not-bad money with it right off. We talked about the rain coming in and I said I'm going to go back to my place, drop off the trailer, and come back out for a trip to Lowe's. Tom insisted I take a roll of paper towels from him "You gave me a chair". So I put those in the bike bag and rode back here.

I still wanted to go to Lowe's and it wasn't raining yet so I put things away and started back out. I got one package of paper towels and a gallon of Windex and stopped by Tom's again to give him one of the little sandpaper sponge things I'd bought as I only needed one and the paint store only sold them in twos. Then I rode back here again, with rain drops starting to fall. I'd timed things perfectly.
